MANAGER, CLINICAL TRIALS
Edward Hospital & Health Services, located in Naperville, Illinois is seeking a full time Manager, Clinical Trials. This position is responsible for the clinical research conducted within the Clinical Trials Department. Manages multiple department clinical trials, facilitates the conduct of clinical research and assures all investigators and coordinators practice within Good Clinical Practice guidelines. Manages financial and administrative aspects of clinical research activities and supervises research coordinators and support staff. Provides education and mentorship to staff regarding research studies and serves as a liaison with IROC, IRB and commercial sponsors. Conducts cost/benefit analysis for research conducted at the hospital.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in nursing or other health care field with five to seven years of health care, including clinical trial, experience and current CPR certification. Certification by the Association for Clinical Research Professionals or the Society of Clinical Research Associates and a current Illinois State RN licensure preferred.
