Human Research Protection Opportunities

Join a rapidly expanding program at the nation's oldest and most respected health care accrediting organization. A joint venture between NCQA and JCAHO has created the Partnership for Human Research Protection, Inc., (PHRP) which will offer a new accreditation program that will seek to protect the safety and rights of participants in clinical trials and research programs in public and private hospitals, academic medical centers, and other research facilities in the United States and abroad.

NCQA's Human Research Protection Accreditation department offers exciting new opportunities for individuals with experience in human research protection, accreditation, and operations management. Please review our current opportunities within our HRP department below:

Human Research Protection Analysts

The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), whose mission is to improve the quality of America 's health care, is seeking two Human Research Protection Analysts.
The primary role of the HRP Analyst is to support accreditation surveys by tracking all information received from customers and conducting preliminary reviews of submitted materials for compliance. Other duties include: conducting quality assurance reviews and producing accreditation reports, analyzing aggregate accreditation results, and communicating information about the HRP program to customers.

Qualified candidates will have at least two years of experience in a clinical research/human subjects protection environment. Knowledge of IRB operations is strongly desired. Strong oral and written communication skills, the ability to multi-task and work independently are required for this role. A Bachelors degree is required; although a CIP OR ACRP certification and a Masters degree is preferred.
