 IRB Coordinator -- Camden, NJ

Position: IRB Coordinator – Cooper University Hospital, Camden, NJ

Under the Supervision of the IRB Director, the IRB Coordinator assures that IRB activities and documents are in compliance with OHRP and FDA regulations and Cooper IRB policies. The coordinator shares responsibility with the Director for managing one of two IRB committees. The coordinator advises IRB members and investigators regarding IRB policies and procedures and provides education and support in use of the electronic IRB system. The coordinator organizes and administers monthly IRB meetings; determines level of review and processes new study applications, amendments, adverse event reports, and progress reports; prepares accurate and comprehensive agendas and minutes of IRB meetings and correspondence with investigators; maintains study files in the electronic IRB system.

Ideal candidates will have: the ability to communicate effectively and to write complex communications; strong organizational and interpersonal skills; and the ability to prioritize and process large volumes of work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications: B.A., B.S., R.N., or 5 years IRB experience.
