The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is seeking an exceptional professional for the position of Director, Human Subjects Research. Reporting to the Director, Office of Research Compliance & Regulatory Affairs, the position is responsible for oversight of IRB Operations, support of the IRB Committees and development of training and educational programs for investigators and research staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required/Master’s Degree or equivalent health-related professional degree preferred, with a minimum of 5 years of management experience in an IRB Office. Outstanding organizational, human relations and leadership skills, and the ability to function in a team environment are required. Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing the ethical conduct of clinical research and the protection of human subjects. Demonstrated ability to work with clinical research faculty, students and administration to assure appropriate levels of education and understanding of the requirements for ethical research with human subjects.
