Position Announcement - Sr. Human Subject Protections Analyst, New Brunswick/Piscataway (Central New Jersey: # 08NS977013

Position Description Summary: Under minimal supervisor of the IRB Executive Director, provides a high level of administrative services within the UMDNJ’s Campuses. Provides support services to the Executive Director for the monitoring of the effectiveness of UMDNJ’s Human Subject Protections Program. Prepares and presents audit reports to the IRBs as needed. Prepares initial draft of reports to federal agencies. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for the creation and editing of documentation. Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory requirements (EPA, FDA, DHHS, IRB, etc.). Accurately identifies reference sources of regulatory information. Reads and comprehends new and existing laws governing the clinical testing industry. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Required: Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences or Nursing is required. Master's Degree a plus. Three (3) or four (4) years of related professional experience. Experience as a research study coordinator a plus. Knowledge of IRB process required. Demonstrated verbal and writing skills. Solid PC skills. Ability to produce statistical, audit and regulatory reports. Additional related education and/or experience and training may be substituted for the degree on a year-for-year basis.
