 Research Compliance Officer -- Milwaukee, WI

Marquette University, a private Jesuit institution with 37 masters programs and 17 doctoral programs, is seeking a Research Compliance Officer. The Compliance Officer (CO) is primarily responsible for planning and directing institutional compliance with federal regulations, state laws, ethical guidelines, and institutional assurances governing the conduct of research involving human subjects, vertebrate animals, recombinant DNA, and radioactive isotopes.

The candidate should have a Master’s degree or J.D. with science background and three years experience with regulatory compliance issues related to research. The individual should have detailed familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations in relevant compliance areas. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills are needed. Experience in an academic institution is preferred, and experience working with a radiation safety program is preferred.
