 IRB Analyst/Training Coordinator -- Portland, OR

The Kaiser Permanente Northwest (KPNW) Research Subjects Protection Office in Portland, Oregon has a position open for an IRB Analyst/Training Coordinator. The purpose of the position is to perform regulatory analysis and administrative review of IRB submissions and manage the electronic IRB (e-IRB) system for the Research Subjects Protection Office supporting the KPNW Institutuional Review Board. Other responsibiities include coordinating and providing training on the e-IRB system for all users and training in bioethics and human subjects.

Education requirements: Bachelor's degree, plus some educational background in information systems, training, and/or health related field or equivalent combination of knowledge and experience.

Licensing/certification requirements: certification as a Certified IRB Professional within one year of hire or as soon as eligible.

Passing a background check as well as drug screen is required for all candidates.
