Human Subject Protection Program Specialist II

The Carle Foundation is seeking a Human Subject Protection Program (HSPP) Specialist II. This position will work closely with the Carle Institutional Review board (IRB) Chair, HSPP Director and other HSPP staff in implementing an efficient, effective and compliant human subject protections program. The specialist will manage the study intake and review process, assist in identifying and resolving issues, document IRB decisions, and communicate IRB decisions to investigators.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a bachelor degree in health sciences, education or communication and five (5) years experience using critical thinking, reasoning, problem solving and communication skills in a professional setting; experience in managing data and creating reports, and in developing, coordinating, and successfully executing complex processes and procedures.
