Quorum Review is one of the largest Independent Review Boards in the US. We ensure the safety and well-being of participants in clinical trials and we are passionate about the services we provide and proud of the customer focus that has grown our business.
We are in search of a Vice Chair who can assist the IRB Chair in leading meetings of the convened board. This position will contribute board member judgment, participate in the formulation of IRB policies; provide expedited review and safety review activities in addition to providing guidance to researchers and IRB staff.
The ideal candidate will posses an advanced degree in a scientific field (MD or PHD), service on an IRB or similar decision making body, clinical research experience in conducting industry-sponsored trials, 7+ years of senior leadership in a research institution, pharmaceutical company or similar organization, and experience working with guidelines and regulations governing research with human subjects and the use of investigational drugs/devices/biologics.
This position requires a strong focus on building relationships. We need someone who is persuasive and is able to stimulate and motivate others to represent their viewpoints while being aware and responsive to their needs and concerns.
Also must posses English language fluency and highly effective written communication skills. Also must be proficient in MS office Suite products and experienced in mail-merging and exporting data.
Our office is in downtown Seattle with customers across the US. Occasional travel is required. Quorum offers competitive pay and benefits for this high level position. Salary and bonus DOE.
