The VA Rehab Research & Development Center of Excellence for Limb Loss Prevention & Prosthetic Engineering at VA Puget Sound Health Care System is seeking a bachelor's level (master's level or higher is preferred) full-time Research Project Technical Writer to work with six investigators (PhD or MD). Primary duties will include writing and managing Human Subjects research applications and on-going project documents for all center investigators. Assistance with literature review, manuscript preparation, and grant writing will also be necessary. Qualified candidates will have excellent scientific writing and organizational skills, and be able to perform basic statistical analyses. The appropriate candidate will have knowledge, experience, and training in a life science or engineering field. Minimum of three years of experience or training in conducting research is essential; experience conducting research involving humans and the human subject research regulations or CIP certification is preferred. This is a productive and collegial lab environment. The position is open and will be filled as soon as an appropriate candidate is identified. Note that this position is only open to U.S. Citizens.
