Western Institutional Review Board is recruiting a full-time staff physician. The primary responsibilities are to review clinical research protocols from around the world, review ongoing clinical research (adverse events, protocol changes, protocol deviations, etc.) and pursue special projects (data safety monitoring, biosafety, business development, consultation, training, etc). The ideal candidate must have a medical degree and 6+ years of practice or related experience, a medical sub-specialty (oncology, cardiology, intensive care, gastroenterology) or primary care experience preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in team are required. Prior experience in clinical research and IRB a plus, but not a requirement. Training is provided.
