JOB DESCRIPTION
Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island, a Care New England hospital, is one of the nation's leading specialty hospitals for women and newborns and the primary teaching affiliate of the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University for obstetrics, gynecology and newborn pediatrics.
The National Children's Study (NCS) Research Manager plans, coordinates, implements and oversees the daily activities of the NCS clinical research project, assigns daily work, measures performance, and manages human resources. Experienced in IRB preparation, monitoring the conduct of the protocols, manages data collection and transmission, and study records. Handles administrative duties including budget control/maintenance. Serve on committees.
Requirements: BS in Nursing with current RI RN licensure; Master's degree highly desirable. Supervisory experience and 7 to 10 years experience in research. Proficiency with PC's, including database, and statistical applications, excellent communication skills and analytical abilities.
