RESEARCH COMPLIANCE ADMINISTRATOR

SPONSORED PROGRAMS OFFICE

Full-time staff position available immediately. Responsibilities: support administration of the research compliance function of the Sponsored Programs Office; provide administrative support for the Institutional Review Board, Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee and the Institutional Bio-safety Committee; serve as coordinator for the IRBNet system and the liaison between IRBNet and researchers or committee members. Minimum qualifications: associate’s degree or equivalent; at least one year of research compliance or related experience; proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with an on-line submission system; excellent communication skills. Preferred qualifications: bachelor’s degree in a health, medical, social science or other related field; Certified IRB Professional (or qualified to take CIP within a year of hire); or Certified IRB Manager (CIM); experience with IRBNet; knowledge of federal regulations and guidelines regarding research; familiarity with university research policies and procedures; supervisory experience. Starting salary is $29,640 with an excellent benefits package.
