Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee, WI has an immediate opening for a Research Educator in our Department of Clinical Research.
This position creates, maintains and facilitates the training and education of staff in the Department of Clinical Research (DCR) to include new employee orientation, continuing education programs for existing staff, and maintenance of the mentor program. Develops individualized educational material to be implemented by Research Study Coordinators. The Research Educator collaborates with Clinical Trials Managers and Director related to all concerns regarding human subject research conducted in a rapidly changing regulatory environment. Will work closely with the IRB office and Quality Auditor to identify areas of improvement. This position may function as a research coordinator by working closely with investigators to conduct clinical trials.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a health related field, certification as a Clinical Research Associate or Clinical Research Coordinator required. Minimum three years experience in professional education preferred, minimum five years experience in clinical research. Knowledge of FDA regulations and ICH guidelines; Excellent communication skills and proficient with computer software; Past experience with developing educational programs for research is highly desirable.
