The Research Subject Protection Program (RSPP) of Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee, WI is growing and we have an immediate opening for an additional Research Compliance Analyst/Educator. The selected candidate will join our current team of 5 analysts along with 5 other IRB professionals who support the RSPP and Aurora IRBs.
The persons in this position help to provide the infrastructure that allows the Aurora RSPP and IRBs to be functional and operational. The Aurora RSPP maintains full AAHRPP accreditation and oversees approximately 600 active protocols. Responsibilities of this professional position include the pre-review of research proposals and other actions for compliance with federal regulations and institutional policies and requirements, as well as the development of educational activities for IRB members and personnel conducting research within the organization. The position interacts directly with clinical research coordinators and investigators, as well as IRB members, and reports to the RSPP Manager, who in turn reports to the Institutional Official.
Qualifications: Five years related experience (i.e. Nursing, Biomedical Sciences, Medical Administration) that includes a minimum of two years experience in clinical research, and eligibility to sit for CIP are required. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred; CIP preferred. Applicants should have substantial knowledge of regulatory requirements and ethics for research involving human subjects, a working knowledge of medical and scientific terminology and concepts, previous personal computer experience, and have strong oral and written communication skills.
