Reporting to the Manager of Research Compliance and Quality Improvement, provide high-level professional support in the growing efforts to ensure compliance in clinical research billing. Duties include analyzing clinical research protocols to determine whether the study is a qualifying clinical trial and which procedures are billable under Medicare Clinical Trial Policy; ensuring accuracy of informed consent forms with respect to billing; providing consultation and training to investigators and research staff; assisting with development/revision of institutional policies and procedures, and participating in IRB meetings.
To qualify, you will have a related Bachelor’s degree and five years experience in clinical research. Must have exceptional communication, organizational, research and analytical skills. Ability to work well independently and collaborate with multiple departments. Computer proficiency essential. Knowledge of clinical trials billing requirements preferred, but training and support will be provided. Nursing degree and RN licensure preferred.
