Salary Range: VS31, $77,503.00 - $116,254.00
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Science (BS) or equivalent health-related professional degree with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the administration of an IRB office in the biomedical or public health research field. CIM or CIP preferred and required within twelve (12) months of hire. Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing the ethical conduct of research and the protection of human subjects. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to work with clinical research faculty, students and administration to assure appropriate levels of education and understanding of the requirements for ethical research with human subjects. Outstanding human relations, leadership skills and the ability to function in a team environment required. Additional related professional experience may be substituted for the degree on a year-for-year basis.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the operational functions of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) on the New Brunswick/Piscataway Campuses, servicing all schools and multiple institutes residing in New Brunswick/Piscataway.
